Tinker Air Force Base is a Reserve Campus facility which will be facing many important changes in the next five years.  With over 5,000 acres January 2008, a new associate will be moving in; the 137 Air Refueling Wing stands to arrive and arrangements for the operation has already gotten underway at the site. Designations for site renovations have many different completion dates. Everything from furnishings to entire building overhauls. Plans also include a new Hospital facility at the base. The University of Oklahoma is the state’s 3rd largest employer. The University Health Sciences Center is located in Oklahoma City with a budget of over 4400 million.  OUHSC employes over 800 full-time faculty and 2,400 staff members.  There are 3,000 students enrolled in more than 70 undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the Center’s colleges.

Oklahoma City Public School System has a student population of over 37,000 with an average class size of 18 students.  This includes elementary and high school levels.  There are a little over 2,700 early childhood programs at the 59 sites in Oklahoma City.  There are 67 elementary and middle schools and 15 high school and alternative schools in the area.  Contact the Human Resources office.
